White Buffalo Releases Spaghetti Western Spoof
You know when people say they have the best job in the world? Well, we think they’re lying unless they work at White Buffalo. Yep. That’s right. We just called them out.
Lately we’ve been having a blast shooting all kinds of videos that have kept us on our toes. From corporate videos to branded content pieces to a very impactful (and hush hush) documentary we are producing to the latest video we released this week – a spaghetti western spoof.
Yep, that’s what we said. No reason to reread.
A SPAGHETTI WESTERN SPOOF, PEOPLE!
Recently we storyboarded and came up with a concept for a client of ours, Katie’s Pizza and Pasta Osteria in Rock Hill, MO. Anyone who walks into Katie’s learn two thing pretty quickly…this is the best damn pizza and pasta in St. Louis and they love to play old movies on the big screen over the handmade bar. One thing you might not know? The owners love spaghetti westerns and are particular fans of “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly”.
We decided to spoof this favorite film of theirs and produce “The Good, The Bad, and The Meatball” as an homage to all that embodies Katie’s Pizza and Pasts Osteria…the down to earth staff, the hip atmosphere, the food so good you would literally stab someone with a fork for, and the oh-so-not-serious-attitude of the fabulous owners.
We had a blast pulling out cameras and gear we don’t use every day for this shoot including a 2x anamorphic lens on an old 85-205 FD mount on our state-of-the-art cameras. We also had more fun than anyone really should creating each and every sound effect that you hear in this film as well. Let’s just say we were committed to spoofing this film the right way!
So, ladies and gents….may we present to you a film we’ve worked hard on, laughed so hard we’ve cried on and are very proud of… “The Good, The Bad, and the Meatball”!
